THANK YOU FOR A WILD WEEK!

Thank you to everyone who participated in teacher appreciation week. Our teachers and staff feel loved and the students were excited to participate with something new and fun every day. A very special thanks to Erin O'Shea and Reva Busby, along with their dedicated Staff Appreciation Team: Torrie Behrens, Nancy Gloe, Hannah Lewis, & Ilona Senin for dedicating so much energy and creativity to making last week incredibly special.

Thank you to Jen Freeman for all the graphics & print materials to support the week! Thank you to families for supporting this week through assisting students with cards and notes to teachers, thoughtful video submissions, locating clothes for spirit days, and support of our fundraisers that allow us to provide a special week to celebrate our staff.

As organized by the PTO, students chalked the walk with cheerful messages leading into school, wore their teachers' favorite colors, made special notes and even recorded a video for all staff. Teachers were treated to a trail mix bar in the lounge, made massage chair appointments and participated in a giant plant raffle.

Principal Candela brought his own special treat for his staff. He set up a Tonybucks coffee bar! Tony makes an excellent barista.

THE PTO STILL NEEDS A CHAIR OF NEW FAMILY ENGAGEMENT!
You Should Totally Do This.

New Family Engagement
(Rolls Up to Membership)
Organize welcome yard sign delivery for the principals and oversee an event or table at an existing event to greet new families (Late Summer-Early Fall). Maintain communication throughout the year with the front office to be alerted of new families that move in, and reach out with a PTO welcome upon their arrival (August - June). Work with the MD of Membership to distribute PTO materials that go to next year’s kindergarten students (Spring).

We also have MD Finance and Plant Sale Chair open. as well.

Interested? Please reach out to Kevin Kohlstedt (listed in PTO Directory).
