Indian Trail is the proud recipient of not one but TWO trophies this year: (1) Overall Winner for Registration % in the District at a staggering 86% and, (2) Most Improved Registration Year over Year, with a 17% improvement from last year's 68.4%. WE ROCKED IT!
- Indian Trail registered a total of 386 people, an improvement of 74 over last year.
- We only beat Braeside by 27 registrations so last week's push to register 25 really made a difference. Thanks to all of our students and their parents for contributing to our success!
The parents at Indian Trail also crushed the race, taking home top two male finishers and top two female finishers. And there were so many more Indian Trail parents in the top finishers, congrats to all.
- Leah Davis won top female followed by Erin French.
- Matthew Schmanski won top male followed by Adam Levy.
We also had a top 3 student finisher with Emilia Burnham taking 2nd place in her age group.
The top classes also smashed this year, blowing last year's performance out of the water:
- Ms. Staletovic registered an unprecedented 84% of the class.
- Mrs. Cohen registered an impressive 74% of the class.
- Third place was a four-way tie among Rosenfeldt, Mandl, Seefeldt and Wagner at a strong 50%.
The top two classes have won a morning at the movies on October 13 at Wayfarer Theaters. Principal Candela is working on a prize for 3rd place since it was a four-way tie! And the entire school gets extra recess on Friday as a celebration of our success!
A big thank-you to our FUNd Run Chair, Ali Burnham, for leading us to victory for the second year in a row! Her dedication and energy made this possible!
All of this participation made for an incredible race this past weekend and a tremendous impact on the fundraising efforts for the D112 foundation which is what this is really about!
